The modern technology used at CDL not only provides rapid turn-around time (TAT) but also is cost effective due to decrease in the logistical costs. Fully computerized and robotic instruments at CDL are capable of reducing many human errors normally occurs during sample labeling, analysis and copying the results
The mission of CDL is to provide superior and reliable diagnostic laboratory services to ensure quality of disease diagnosis and patient care.
The vision of CDL is to set a benchmark for quality standard of diagnostic laboratory in Nepal. CDL is committed to offer cost effective wide spectrum of laboratory tests by utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, advanced logistics systems and highly experienced laboratory scientists. The Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory unit based in our main branch at Kathmandu, Kamalpokhari is the only of its kind among the standalone referral laboratories in this region. CDL has invested in technologies that allow flexibility in test menu expansion to develop with infectious disease markers and to carry out the most sophisticated molecular and genetic testing, therefore directly contributing to the realization of the vision of CDL to increase spectrum and coverage of laboratory testing. The Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory unit based in our main branch at Kathmandu, Kamalpokhari is the only of its kind among the standalone referral laboratories in this region.
We know better that, correct diagnostic and therapeutic decisions rely, in part on the accuracy of test results because at least 70% of medical decisions are based on laboratory results
